Swatow Seafood Restaurant - Dim Sum Buffet

So yesterday was the birthday celebration for my Grandma \(^○^)人(^○^)/

We celebrated her 75th birthday by having the normal must have birthday cake cutting "ceremony" and we Dim Sum buffet for lunch.

Who cuts the cake using such a big knife, I think only us ヾ(〃^∇^)ノ
After cutting and eating the cake, we head down to have our lunch at Swatow Seafood Restaurant's Dim Sum buffet.

Here are some of the pictures of the food I manage to take before gobbing all of it down. ◎[▪‿▪]◎

First two serving of food we had.

Siew Mai with green color wrapping, which was suppose to be vegetables.

"Shark Fin" dumpling

The pictures wasn't even half of what we ate, sorry I didn't manage to get the pictures of all the food.
But overall, the food was great. (ミ ̄ー ̄ミ)
I liked the service of the staff there, and how the buffet style was like, instead of us getting up from our seats and getting the food, which is the normal buffet styles, the staffs actually carry trays, push carts to every table with different food, if you want the food, you get it from them.
The staff were all very friendly, and one of them actually specially came to our table with a tray of prawn dumpling for my brother after knowing from the adults that's his favorite food because he was throwing tantrum and not eating anything much. ◎[▪‿▪]◎
Here's what prawn dumpling look like in case you are wondering.

The only bad thing was when we went at that time slot, they did not offer chili padi, but that's okay because its a personal preference or habit to always have chili padi in every meal I eat.

Can you spot the difference between the last two pictures ≧◡≦

Of course, group pictures after a very good meal (✿◠‿◠)
After eating, we went to Toa Payoh library to satisfy all our cravings for books to read HAHAHAH

I manage to borrow a book at the last minute, its titled Learn To Be An Optimist by Lucy Macdonald.
Will post a review from the book after I read finish it (▰˘◡˘▰)
All in all, its a good Sunday spend with my loved ones, and I'm believing in God for a good week this week as well!
Have a good week ahead everyone and thank you for taking time off to read the posts I made.

[Park Adventure] East Coast Park

Thank you all for taking time to read this space of mine.
Okay, so as the title suggests, I went on a date with my favorite boy 。(✿‿✿)。

We went on our first ever Park Adventure date and we "explored" East Coast Park.
Well explored with the symbols because we rode bicycles instead of walking and we didn't really stop much, we or rather I just kind of ride and ride and ride. Which kind of killed him HAHA.

Okay, so we had our lunch at the Parkway Parade market and we walked to East Coast Park!
ECP was very, i repeat very very windy.
But surprisingly it was very empty when we reach, and it was good because the both of us have something in common, we dislike places with a lot of people around (◣_◢)

You might think I'm exaggerating but I'm not, prove is below. ◎[▪‿▪]◎

But anyway we went to the first bicycle rental shop we saw and rented our bikes!
We had two hours of rental time, one hour paid and the other was for free.

Let the adventure begin (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ
We started riding from Area C and stopped at our first "checkpoint" at Bedok Jetty, which just saying was all way at area F. HAHAHAHAH just saying, not trying to imply anything.

There was quite a number of people fishing, and I was amaze almost everyone at one point or another caught their fishes despite the crazy amount of wind causing the huge waves on the sea.

I tried my best to keep my eyes open but the sun was too strong, don't know how this boy manage to have his eyes open.
Then we continued riding from Bedok Jetty to somewhat one of the ends of ECP, and we went up this view tower located in the middle of nowhere HAHAAHAHAH.
And of course we went to the top, okay not exactly the top top, but  the highest part where the bike can go.

But the sun was really annoying ╚(•⌂•)╝
I can't even open my eyes when we were taking pictures, but I'm glad the pictures came out pretty nice, with the RIGHT angle and sunlight quoted from him. HAHAH

After that, we rode back and by this time, people are starting to fill in in the park and East Coast Park looked like ecp again.
But surprisingly, there were new shops opened near the Area C - B, like starbucks.

We bought Passion Tea Lemonade, which is now my new favorite drink (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
Then we returned our bikes and sat at the rock thingy (idk the name of it) and planned to catch sunset, but we kinda failed because I think the spot wasn't where the sun will set.

But it was a good thing, just sitting and talking and taking pictures ◎[▪‿▪]◎
Thank you for the time spend together and sorry not sorry for making your butt hurt from all the cycling. HAHN kiddingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

W for what the shit is this

Been trying to revamp my blog skins and I can't get the hang of the html thingy, oh how I wish my past editing html skills will come back to me soon.
Maybe I will change this space to some other websites that allows me to have pretty skins and can be customized to the way I want it.
But before I find any, I will be sticking to this little heaven of mine. :)

T U E S D A T E

So yesterday I went on a date with my boy.
(its so weird I actually typing this out, like wow, I still can't believe it, I actually am in a relationship)
LOLLLLL okay, sorry for that, I got too happy and I just type out everything that was running through my weird little brain.
Okay so back to what I was saying, yesterday I went out with Shawn for our date ❀◕ ‿ ◕❀
He took the extra effort and came and fetch me from my house. hehe, i'm such a lucky girl. ᵔᴥᵔ

There were changes to the original plans we had, we wanted to have lunch at Ang Mo Kio then watch the movie at Bishan then go for our daily park adventures but I decided to stay at Ang Mo Kio all the way because we met my friend to collect the food she brought from Hong Kong hehe.
Okay so moving on.

We had lunch at the best beef noodle stall I have grown up eating.

Its located at Ang Mo Kio Street 22 Blk 226H.
Opens daily from 7.20am to 3.30pm, except for Mondays.
We were lucky because we manage to reach the shop in time before it closes for the day.

Normally, I would order the dry beef noodle but I guess we reach there too late and it got sold out.
But anyways, I ordered Kway Teow Beef Noodle soup for both myself and him.
And I must say, the taste never change.
It's definitely one of the best beef noodle I have ever eaten, they give generous amount of beef meat and the soup base is that kind of base you know is not cooked with MSGs.

After eating we went to Shi Shan's house to meet Chay Huay to collect the food she bought from Hong Kong for us!

Singapore should really import these two pocky flavor, they are so delicious (▰˘◡˘▰)

Then we decided to stay Monopoly.

I was amazed, now Monopoly can be played using Credit Cards, I still remember the last time I play monopoly the "banker" will have the game box full of money notes neatly organized and all of us would have notes on our hands ready to play.
But now, its all cards and machines.

But the advancement has its pros and cons.
Pros is that now its not messy anymore, money won't fly everywhere, and we can start the game without having to spend time to distribute the money to the players.
But its troublesome especially when situation like transferring money occur.
But nonetheless, it was a good eye opener to a cave woman like who who have not played Monopoly in yearsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

After playing, Shi Shan's mom cooked dinner for us and after that we went to watch our movie.
We watched Step up all in.
Thankfully we manage to still get the tickets.
Because the movie starts at 7.20pm but we only left Shi Shans house at 7.10.
Thank God we manage to still get the tickets (thanks for his treat), and the movie was good :)

After watching, went to buy some food to satisfy the boy's hunger and bused home!

Its always a good time with him hehehe.
Looking forward to our next date exploring the parks (⌒_⌒)
